Our journey has been very rewarding: we have been grown up from a small organisation with a pair of squads and few managers into a big community supporting many squads and equipped with an excellent taskforce. We may announce with a good conscience that it is extremely difficult to find this great people from Finland which we have in our organisation and we feel very privileged because we can work with these people. Step by step we are on our way to reach our goal to be the most respected online game organisation in Finland. So this is not the end point; this is just a waypoint on this enjoyable journey.

In the beginning of this year we moved our website from the old WebSpell to prepage which has been a lot more compact than our old site. Meanwhile we have been talking much about new upcoming website to our organisation. The schedule has been stretched and stretched but it will be relased in due time. We have also renewed our shirtmodels and other graphics on the way. The changes have been small but they have kept the organisation spirited. However now it is time to take the next big step towards the facelift!

Some may have already noticed that we have used our new blue-black logo somewhere. Originally it was supposed to be relased with the new website but in our opinion it is better to start rebranding now, not tomorrow. So welcome the new logo designed by furri which bears the name REVO!

But today we are also glad to announce our new CS:S squad which will be playing under our tag at ESPC. After a while of negotiations we saw that this team would be the best choise to represent us in the future. So we will have them as team in trial from now on since the lenght of their trial period hasn’t been decided and we see the trial period essential since the situation of the teams of Finnish eSports scene is too unstable at present and we don’t want to take that risk anymore where the team which has been directly taken in starts to change its players or alternatively fold after a month of active playing.

But here is the new RCTIC’s CS:S stand-in squad:

	Lauri “Jonssen” Niitamo, 21 Jonssen is the team’s in-game leader and all-around player. He has been playing on his career in teams like Insignia Cadre and Afterlife. His achievements have been e.g. 1st Clanbase EuroCup XII, 1st CCSSL-i Season 3, 1st EuroCSS LAN #1, 1st CAL Europe Main S06, 2nd Assembly Winter 07 and much much more.
	Micko “WaRsLuT” Hakala, 17 He is the main AWP of the team and is able to win rounds almost himself with his excellent aiming. His former teams have been PINGU and Afterlife in which they managed to place 3rd at Solid Mojo.
	Ville “Kelli” Kettunen, 18 Kelli owns incredible gaming intelligence and aim. He is a former player of Finland’s national CS:S team and has achieved for example 1st place at Clanbase Nationscup XII and Solid Vaultparty, 3rd place at Assembly Summer ‘08 and 4th place in ‘09.
	Joonas “nuveR” Heinonen, 20 Nuver is the second in-game leader of the team and plays with AWP when needed. He is a former player of e.g. Northwave and cZar and has placed 1st at Assembly Winter 08 and Gurulan 07. He also managed to place 3rd at ESPC #1 and Assembly Winter 07.
	Jermu “xeriex” Loikkanen, 19 Jonssen stated that xeriex is the most insane player he has ever met. He is a player of Finnish national team 2010 and has played in teams such like PINGU and Random-Gaming / Team CMAX.gg.

I(snd) asked Camilla a few questions about her. Read more if you want to know how she has became a nerd like
the rest of us.

So how did you end up to the world of esports?
I was forced to get to know the world of esports by my first boyfriend and it was year 2003. He made me play counter-strike 1.6 with his friends and then I was pretty much hooked. I got my own computer as a christmas present and then I really started playing. One of my best friends invited me to Assembly Summer 2005 with him and that was my first event. Since then I have visited almost every event in Finland, mostly Solid lans which are organised in Helsinki area.

What was the deal behind you joining RCTIC as a staff member?
The deal was actuallly quite an accident I think :) I just said to Passenger that “Hey I can speak many languages so I could come and translate some stuff for you!.” Then he asked around and guys approved me to their organization. I wanted to join this organization because I like these guys very much and they do this amazing job for the finnish scene and they have a very positive attitude.

What are you doing besides writing and translating for us? Playing any games?
Nowadays I have been working with Peliliiga organizing CS tournaments and stuff. Next event is going to be Assembly Summer and there I will work as a gameadmin. I also work in real life now and then at a foodmarket. I also do poledancing and of course I play (a lot) counter-strike.

I heard something about you wearing a RCTIC irc tag and Peliliiga didn’t quite aprove that. True of false?
Yeah Peliliiga said that I can’t wear any irctags atleast not on any event / tournament channels. It is not approved and it might give the wrong impression about me working as a referee. I can wear a tag but with different BNC.

How’s things going with RCTIC then? Our Call of Duty 4 team announced few changes in their team just couple days ago and they brought in some well-known names in Finnish scene which is good. We still have a lot of things going on and one of them is the new websites which is in coding phase and hopefully it will be up within next month.

Well, anything else really comes up to my mind so that’s all for now. Just remember to follow and watch some matches from Football World Cup 2010 from South Africa! Peace for now!

Team was seen at Solid Mojo LAN about two weeks ago and that event wasn’t a success. But now our team has decided that it’s time to make some changes. Lauri “NiNLeX” Vanhanen leaves the team and is replaced by Niklas “laznic” Lepistö who is Jalmari’s former teammate. Niklas has also experience from LANs outside of Finland also as he has attended The eXperience 2009 with diamondZ, with what they ended up with 6th/7th placement. Jalmari got also experience from LANs outside of Finland as he joined up with diamondZ after TeX’09 and then they attended Crossfire Challenge 7. There’s also some other chances in the team. Daniel “dANIII” Jansson is stepping down from team and makes room for Roope “robez” Hokkanen, who’s known for his time in x9.Syndrome, previously known as xtothed.

Hello Jalmari, could you introduce yourself to our readers?

Hey. Well my name is Juuso, (some) people call me Jalmari though, and in cod4 I’m known as gnarly previously known from the Finnish mLPF team. I’m 19 years old guy who likes whole bunch of stuff and I live in the middle of the forests of Finland. My old team decided to go inactive and together with laznic we decided to join this nice upcoming Finnish bunch and I think by bringing our contribution we just might make something happen here.

You’re one of the newest members in our team, how you found your way to RCTIC?

Actually I think it was a friend of mine which I first met at some local LAN and who at one point was part of this teams early stage line-ups. Soon he introduced me to the people and asked me to play with them a little. Time passed by and I got to know the people here and I guess they thought that I was nice guy and skilled player enough for them and so they asked me to play bit more with them and since I didnt really have anything better to do with my time at the moment I decided to give it a go. It looked like they still needed one more player so I grabbed my old teammate to come along with me and here we are.

You had some changes in the team which resulted you to be new team captain. How do you feel about having this position?

Well I’m pretty happy and really confident about it, at least about all the in-game related stuff, but I don’t really think that much about it since I know I can manage it well and everything. I suppose it’s kind of nice in being in charge of things though! Being the captain means that I’m gonna do lot of stuff with the management aswell, and getting to know all the new people could be exiting. But yeah, I’m certainly looking forward to it and I’m really fond of the managers who I have talked with so far. Frankly the organizations been quite a pleasant surprise for me ;).

What kind of plans you and your mates have in the future? Any plans to attend some LANs within this year?

I know for sure that we’ll attend pretty much all of the Finnish events since traveling inside Finland is pretty easy but right now I’d rather take one thing at the time and focus more on practicing than thinking about future LANs abroad. Sure if everything goes well for everyone you might be seeing us in some European LANs with the help of our organization and if that actually happens then I’ll be looking forward to spending quality time abroad with my teammates and managers. For now me and laznic are the only ones from the team who have participated in any major European LANs before and the will to do that again is great and I think I speak for both of us when I say that we both think that we have the potential to get there again with this team if we keep practicing.

zP! gathered total of three ranking lists which are rifles, heavies and snipers. Each category has their own point system and all teams who were in European Clan Rankings were asked for their opinions which means total of 11 team got their opinion said. Unfortunately only zg from our DoD:S team managed to get enough of votes to make it to top list and in his case the list is snipers. zg is actually drawing first placement of sniper list with micHii from zeroPoint!, with both having 40 points.
