Hi! I’m Joona “Jonsku” Ilves, I live in Finland and my favourite sport is eSports.
I have played online games since ’00, and my eSports career started with game named Action Quake 2. Nowadays I dont play so often than before, I don’t know whether it is boredom, or just the fact that I do not have the time for it, but still I’m here!
I came to RCTIC in january, when PassengeR asked me if I wanted to come shoot some photos, and do some little things like posting stuff to facebook etc. Now I have been five months in RCTIC, and if these guys want rid of me, they have to fight for it – I’m not leaving! There have been so much hilarious moments on lan events and bootcamps, so if laughter could kill me, I would have already died!
This weekend we are on lan event called “Solid Mojo” with 3 squads of RCTIC members.
On thursday we got our new t-shirts, just hanged out and played console games with Janne, Nico and Teppo, and had nice evening, laughter was big part of it too.
Friday was first LAN day. When we arrived to Energia Areena, whitch is place where Solid Mojo is, we start unpacking and all things wasn’t like they supposed to be. My videocam battery was empty, and charger was in home and Janne left he’s mouse to home by accidentally, so he had to play with some borrowed mouse. When we get over from bigger problems, everything was fine.
How did games go? Well, the only RCTIC team which reached semifinal yesterday was RCTIC.cs, so good luck to today games to them, we will cheer you up to victory!
And last but not least, me! This weekend has so far been fantastic like always with these guys, and it was nice to meet other RCTIC players in real life too. I have sneezed all weekend because of my allergies, but so far I’m alive. Hopefully today is gonna be at least as nice as yesterday, but if it’s better than yesterday – it’s gonna be sick!
